DESCRIPTION:Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSI) refers to a category of injuries involving damage to muscles\, tendons and nerves caused by overuse or misuse. \nEach year much of Ontario’s workforce sustain Repetitive Strain Injuries\, more workers sustain RSIs than all other occupational injuries combined. These injuries are also increasingly being reported by students and others in our communities. (AAOHN) chapters: Maryland-Area Occupational Health Nurse Association\, Seneca Valley of Maryland Association of Occupational Health Nurses and Metropolitan Washington Association of Occupational Health Nurses; and Industrial Hygiene and Safety regional professional chapters\, in collaboration with the NIOSH/Johns Hopkins Education and Research Center.
