In response to recent court rulings in Quebec, the federal government has committed to “moving forward in a responsible way with legislation that responds to the court case”. Part of that includes a public consultation, in both both official languages.

The consultation was announced and opened on Monday, January 13, 2020 and will remain open for two weeks only, closing at midnight on Monday, January 27th, 2020. We encourage you to submit a response on behalf of your organization, and also share widely with your members, encouraging them to respond and share as they see appropriate.
