SUMMARY:Webinar - Current Landscape of Healthcare-Associated Infections and AMR in Canadian Hospitals
DESCRIPTION:Join us for this engaging webinar where the Canadian Nosocomial Infection Surveillance Program (CNISP) team at the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) will provide an overview of the CNISP program\, emerging threats like Candida auris and carbapenamase-producing organisms and cover new initiatives such as the Simplified Dataset for capturing aggregate antimicrobial resistance data from non-CNISP hospitals. \nCNISP is a collaboration between PHAC\, AMMI Canada\, and 106 sentinel hospitals. CNISP conducts prospective surveillance of HAIs and antimicrobial-resistant organisms (AROs) to support infection prevention and control.
