2023 AOHNA Conference

The Alberta Occupational Health Nurses’ Association (AOHNA) is proud to announce that after three years, the 2023 AOHNA Conference will be taking place in Calgary on June 16, 2023! During the conference, delegates will attend educational presentations, participate in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and have long-awaited networking opportunities with their colleagues.
2023 represents exciting opportunities in Occupational Health nursing and our program has now been finalized….and WOW what an amazing line-up we have!! The day will kick off with a keynote presentation by Carol Ann Fried – Finding Your Joyspot: The Heart & Science of Happiness At Work, followed by a discussion on Effective Management of Workplace Chemical Exposure Injuries, and Evidence-Based Legal Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy before we break for lunch and hold our Annual General Meeting. In the afternoon, we will have an extra special presentation by Jodi-Ann Robinson-Perry on her Masters research Learning to become an occupational health nurse: what do we know? and we close out the afternoon with discussions on The Intersection between the Occupational Health Nurse and the Occupational Hygienist: Prevention and Control and The Movement Imperative: What the Latest Science Tells Us About the Crucial Relationship Between Movement and Health!
