SOUNDING THE ALARM HARM REDUCTION SYMPOSIUM

There is a current crisis with the use of opioid drugs in many parts of Canada that is having an impact on consumers of these drugs and the general population. In 2016 there was an estimated 2458 overdose deaths related to opioids in Canada, and there has been an increased demand for emergency responders and healthcare professionals to react to this significant health issue.

This Harm Reduction Symposium will bring together many stakeholders to raise awareness, educate and enhance harm reduction collaboration.
