Typically released in the fall of every year, the Institute for Work & Health (IWH)’s Annual Report takes a look back at the previous fiscal year. The report includes a theme-based narrative on the fiscal year’s research and knowledge transfer and exchange activities, a look at the year in numbers, and the report of the independent auditors based on their annual review of the Institute’s financial statements.
The 2018/19 Annual Report highlights the Institute’s work during the fiscal year ending March 2019 that illustrates what research can do in five areas: reveal emerging issues, offer solutions, point to best practices, evaluate effectiveness and strengthen global standards. The last of these describes the Institute’s role as a national co-host of the 2020 World Congress on Safety and Health at Work.
