2022 AOHNA Virtual Symposium Series – Getting Back to Basics…A, B…Goodbye C!

In consideration of the ongoing concerns of both professionals and employers regarding in-person gatherings and the professional responsibility that we have as an Association of regulated health professionals, the AOHNA Board of Directors has made the decision to hold online/virtual education sessions throughout 2022.
Join us for our kick-off session taking place on April 27, 2022 at 7:00 pm with Dr. Jia Hu, Medical Officer of Health with Alberta Health Services and co-chair of 19 To Zero, in a discussion about The Future State of Healthcare, the world ‘after’ COVID and other health challenges to be addressed as we move from pandemic to endemic.

Dr. Jia Hu is a Public Health Physician and Medical Officer of Health with Alberta Health Services and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary. He is also Physician with Cleavland Clinic and has been advising hundreds of organizations on how to respond to the COVID-19 Pandemic. A recent initiative, 19 To Zero was launched by co-chairs Dr. Jia Hu and Theresa Tang in August of 2020. The core team is made up of physicians, public health researchers, behavioural economists, and creative professionals, supported by a wide partner network. The mission of 19 To Zero is to shift public perceptions around COVID-19 through launching a series of public-facing campaigns that encourage safe behaviour and vaccination.
