OOHNA’s 50th Anniversary Keeping Workers Well 2021 – Virtual Conference
Keeping Workers Well 2021 is again being delivered virtually on Thursday, June 3, 2021 during the COVID-19
pandemic. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and we all look forward to 2022 when we can hopefully host
a hybrid conference that is in-person with a virtual option. It will be so good to greet, meet, and catchup
with colleagues and friends again.
We are delighted that Dr. Linda Duxbury and Dr. Bonnie Rogers agreed to come and celebrate OOHNA’s 50th
anniversary. These internationally recognized leaders in their fields are compelling, erudite speakers, and I look
forward to learning a lot from their sessions.
Keeping to our mandate to deliver a diverse learning experience, our virtual conference offers a wide range of
topics with plenty of Q & A time after each session. Speakers include Ms. Jody Young, Assistant Deputy Minister,
Ministry of Labour, Training, Skills and Development, Dr. Emile Tompa, and Dr. Sharon Cohen. Ms. Audrey Gilbeau
of Nokiwiin will bring an Indigenous perspective to health and safety.
